The Educator

Taking to the hunting trail is time-consuming. In fact, searching for ancestors is a lifetime pursuit. One might consider what the effect has gained. Friendships, finding cousins, lost relatives, people that you never suspected were kin to you, are some of the grand perks. But for me, it is the gift of memory, remembering people's names and dates. Analyzing. Figuring the puzzle. Having a focus of time and true events. History. Geography.  My searches enable me to speak fluidly before any size audience of factual events, to express a keen knowledge of the historical eras in which my ancestors lived. The educator.
